Alpaca Herdsires in Pennsylvania
Our alpaca herdsires, located in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, are extraordinary. Only one in a hundred alpaca males has the top-quality all around to make the cut to become a breeder. Our herdsires are selected for excellence by all the criteria set forth by the alpaca industry: fleece characteristics (fineness, uniformity, density, length, brightness); conformation to the ideal physical characteristics (teeth hit the dental palate correctly, neck to body to leg proportion, straight and accurate legs); and temperament (friendly and amenable to training). The alpaca industry uses Estimated Progeny Differences (EPD's) to scientifically assess and rate the offspring of alpacas. Poseidon Isaac's Matoskah is in the top 1% for fineness and top 2% for uniformity. Please contact us, if you'd like to discuss the best choice for your next breeding decision.
